The name "Mederi" is derived from Latin, meaning “to heal” and "to make whole." Our founder, a former M.D., came to understand that true health extends beyond simply treating physical ailments. It encompasses the whole person — body, mind, and soul. With this realization, he embraced being a Medicine Man. With the name "Many Irons Healing," he reflected his focus on healing the body’s interconnected elements. He felt that the further we drifted from nature, the sicker and more disconnected we became.
